Surrey Hills
Award Winner 2021
This Hawthorn project won Landscape of the Year 2021 in several categories
The brief was to create a family friendly urban oasis, that incorporated an entertaining space to cater for groups of people. It was equally important that the look and scale of both the pool and pool house spaces were in proportion with the sizeable home. The client was adamant on deviating to a more minimalist design, not to compete with the Victorian heritage home
The standout features of this project are the sleek, minimalist pool house and the wet edge pool, with the pool house complementing, not competing with the pool.“
Summed up perfectly by one Judges’ comment..
“This garden from Nature’s Best Landscapes is a great example of what Residential landscaping should be – high quality construction coupled with exceptional softscaping. Erin Green and his team have again delivered on all fronts, from the excellent set out, to the high quality material selection and excellent trade skills being applied to every small detail. “
Description
The home required a massive restoration internally, as well as a 22sq extension and outdoor entertaining area to be added to the property.
As the façade of the existing home was restored first, the Nature’s Best crew was able to design and construct the front yard before the extension commenced.
